Things may never be pose-and-smile-at-award-shows good between Taylor Swift and Katy Perry ever again after all that you-stole-my-backup-dancers bad blood…
… but Katy wants everyone to know she’ll always have love for Tay regardless.
“I love her, I always have,” Katy insisted on Australia’s Today show yesterday. “God bless her on her journey.”
Meanwhile, Katy is recruiting a “squad” of her own to star in her “Swish, Swish” music video — a song widely believed to be her response to Taylor’s track about her, “Bad Blood.” Unlike Taylor’s squad of famous actresses, singers, and supermodels, Katy’s squad will be a bit less… clean cut?
Based on an image Katy posted to Twitter, the video will take place at a basketball court and Katy’s squad will reportedly feature Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (The Mountain from Game Of Thrones) and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin from Stranger Things) to name a few.
Even though there’s no more more bad blood between these two pop stars, there’s no doubt Katy’s sending a message with her carefully selected squad members. This video’s bound to be amazing!
